Fresh cookies with plum jam

Fresh cookies with plum jam

Mix the butter well with the sugar, then add the water and gradually the flour mixed with the baking powder and salt. Pour on a work surface lined with flour and knead by hand until you get a dough that no longer sticks to your hands.

Put the dough in cling film and refrigerate for an hour.

Remove from the fridge and spread thin sheets that you cut into a flower shape.

We place the popcorn in a tray lined with baking paper and put it in the preheated oven at 175 degrees for 8-10 minutes, until it starts to brown on top.

After they have cooled, grease one flower with a plum jam, place another flower over the jam and press lightly.

Place them on a plate and then powder with powdered sugar.

They are ideal with a coffee for breakfast or for a rainy Sunday afternoon as it is today.

And I am convinced that children also love such sweets.

Preparation instructions

The butter at room temperature is mixed with powdered sugar and vanilla sugar, about 3 minutes.

Add eggs and vanilla extract.

Mix until you get a homogeneous composition.

Add flour mixed with baking soda, salt powder and mix well.

After I have completely incorporated the flour, I mix the composition for 1 minute.

The obtained composition is placed in a pos with sprit (star tip).

In a tray greased with oil and lined with baking paper, pour the composition into small shapes - see photo.

Put the tray in the preheated oven at 180 C and bake for about 10 minutes, until the base of the cookies turns golden.

After baking, let them cool completely.

Put the jam in a pos with dui or bag of cakes, pour small hazelnuts in half the amount of cookies then we join them, two by two.

The lid of the citrus juicer is placed on a glass, then a food foil is added inside. Divide the dough into 16 equal balls. Take a ball of dough, break a small piece of dough for the lid, then spread it on the work table pressed with flour. Insert the juicer into the hole, stretching the dough over the edges and drilling a hole in the middle. Press firmly with your fingers to mold to the walls of the form. Then, in the hole created, put a spoonful of filling and cover with the dough.
Remove the cookie with foil and place it in the tray lined with baking paper. Bake the cakes for 25 minutes until lightly browned. When they are ready, they are taken out on a grill and left to cool, then powdered with sugar.

Here you will find another set of cookies.

In a bowl, mix the butter with the powdered sugar and the vanilla sugar until smooth, then add the vanilla essence and the egg, mix again, and finally the flour with the baking powder. We need to get a non-sticky dough, without breaking and easy to handle.

We prepare the filling in a smaller bowl: We mix the plum jam with a few tablespoons of walnuts (the secret is that the jam has a strong consistency so as not to soften the dough in the oven, it seems that I did not put enough walnuts and that is, my cookies did not stay in the desired shape).

With the help of a manual citrus juicer and a plastic wrap that I greased with a few drops of oil, I filled the cookies. It took me a while to fill them, it was harder to start, then I shook hands and I finished them quickly.
The procedure was as follows:
We put the citrus juicer in a glass with the recess upwards, and we put the plastic foil in the recess and arranged it to be perfectly molded by the walls of the juicer. We take a piece of dough, form a ball with the palms and add it in the hole of the juicer over the foil, and with our fingers we make a hole that we fill with a teaspoon of jam and walnuts, then bring the edges of the remaining dough and close the filling from inside the formed cookie. Gently remove the cookie from the mold with the help of plastic wrap and place them on a tray lined with baking paper. I got 20, but it depends on how big the shape of the citrus juicer you have is.
After we have formed the cookies, we put the tray in the hot oven for 15-20 minutes or until they are nicely browned on top.
When they are ready, let them cool and powder them with powdered sugar!
You're welcome!

Tips:
1. You can put various flavors: orange peel, lemon peel, rum, almond essence, etc.

2. They can be filled with other ingredients: finely chopped dehydrated fruit, shit, chocolate mixed with hazelnuts, but provided that the filling is well bound, ie hard, so that the cookies do not leave in the oven and remain in the given shape from the beginning!

Other ingredients

Sour cream croissants with plum jam. When you feel the cold outside, the need to taste something sweet seems to be greater, And the thought runs away from the winter holidays and the smell of cookies and croissants. I had a craving for croissants with jam, tender and fluffy with strong plum jam.

In a large bowl add all the ingredients except flour and jam. Mix a little and knead with flour gradually as it contains at the end you must have a fragile and fragrant dough not very strong. Let it rest in the cold for 2 hours and shape the croissants out of it in several variants. Spread a large and thin sheet of 5 mm then cut diagonally and vertically to get the squares that you fill with a little jam and catch two corners in the middle. You can also shape balls as small as a donut, spread it out and put the jam and then roll. Grease the croissants with a beaten egg and bake at 180 degrees. Powdered with vanilla powdered sugar. Good appetite!

CHRISTMAS COOKIES WITH WALNUT AND GEM

These cookies are very suitable for Christmas. Not only are they very tasty, but they also look good. They can also be rolled in coconut instead of walnut, and you can choose almost any jam for the filling, but I used marmaladecomplicated.

Preparation time: 1 hour in the fridge, 15 minutes in the oven

Amount: 20 pieces

Ingredient:

  • 115 g butter at room temperature
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 teaspoon valinie flavor
  • 1 or
  • 130 g flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 80 g ground nuts
  • plum / cherry / raspberry jam

Mix the butter with the sugar, the vanilla flavor and the vanilla sugar sachet and beat with the mixer until fluffy, 2-3 minutes. Then add the egg yolk. Mix the flour with the salt and incorporate it with the butter dough. The dough obtained is a soft one. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30-60 minutes.

The walnuts can be baked in a baking tray for 10-15 minutes at 180 C to intensify their flavor. Then grind either with a robot or grind with a knife.

After removing from the refrigerator, the dough is formed into 2-3 cm balls. They are rolled in lightly beaten egg whites and then rolled through nuts and placed in a tray lined with baking paper.

Make a hole in the middle of the ball with your thumb to make room for the filling. Fill the cookies with 1/2 teaspoon of jam and put the tray in the preheated oven at 180 C. Let the cookies bake for 12-15 minutes.

The cookies can be served hot or cold, with a glass of milk or next to a hot chocolate.

Plums are native to Asia and were first grown by the Egyptians. They were brought to Europe by the Romanians. Today there are over 2000 varieties of plums, spread all over the world, but regardless of the variety, plums are a gift for health.

Although they have quite a lot of calories, about 200 in 100 grams of fruit, plums are rich in healthy sugars. They have 80% water, many fibers (four grams, per 100 grams of fruit), minerals and vitamins A, B, C and E. Plums are rightly famous for their laxative effect.

Plums also have a strong tonic effect on the needy cell, due to the high concentration of B vitamins, ten plums being enough to cover the entire range of B vitamins needed for one day.

Plums deserve all the praise for the large amount of potassium (320 milligrams, per 100 grams of fruit), and magnesium (25 milligrams, per 100 grams of fruit). Plums are very rich in antioxidants, being on the eighth place, in the top ten & bdquocele richest in fruit antioxidants in the world & rdquo; to which are added a series of substances that contribute effectively to stimulate the intestinal absorption of iron.
