We all know the cute roses on cakes and pies. In most cases they are made from sugar paste in which food coloring is added.
Wishing me some roses for a cake, but having no sugar paste or dyes, I searched the internet and came across a lady's idea to use caramels. She used Sugus caramels, but I tried Cipi and Maoam simple caramels.

RECIPE PREPARATION Caramel roses:

I cut the caramels into 5 pieces, one smaller and four more or less equal. From the smaller piece I formed a tear and stuck it in the tip of a toothpick. I put the other pieces one by one between two pieces of foil and I spread them with the twister in elongated and oval shapes, which I glued artistically and circularly to the tear stuck in the toothpick.


And the roses are ready :) Easy, right? :) I tell you with all my heart that it is very easy to do and you will not need who knows what artistic skill :)

Insert the "flowered" toothpicks into a new dish sponge to stay upright until use.

Careful! The roses are kept cold until use!

As soon as you put the caramel on the table, start rolling the caramel lightly from the outside to the inside. Attention burns.

Take the caramel with both hands and start to stretch, then fold in half, and stretch again and fold, until it becomes whitish. If you want to color it, put the dye before spreading it.

To make roses, take a little of the dough, cut it with scissors and start shaping. First make a bulb, then make the petals in your hand and glue them around each other around the bulb. The top of the petals should bend slightly outwards.

Be careful that the caramel hardens quickly.

You can put it in the microwave if it has hardened and will soften again.

You can take a spoonful of melted caramel and let the overlapping lines flow like a kind of net, on a baking paper or silicone, and so you get all kinds of patterns. You just have to play with your imagination.

Ingredient:

• ½ banana • 1 tablespoon peanut butter • 1 tablespoon oatmeal • 2 teaspoons agave syrup • 200 ml milk

Preparation:

1. In a blender, mix all ingredients except milk, which is added at the end, to avoid the formation of lumps. 2. Voila, the smoothie is ready! With this go great protein biscuits with chocolate. We recommend you try the combination!


How to make homemade caramels

You need a tall pot, because it swells the composition and can give out. It would also be advisable to use a non-stick pot.

Mix all the sugar with the whipped cream and put on medium heat. Stir continuously with a wooden spoon (which you only use for desserts), until the composition starts to boil. Leave it on the fire for another 10-15 minutes - you can check if it is ready by dripping a little liquid in a plate with cold water. If you have a cooking thermometer, then the composition is ready when it reaches a temperature of 115 degrees Celsius.

Grease a large tray with butter, in which you will pour the composition. Take the pot off the heat and add the vanilla essence, mixing with the same wooden spoon. Pour the composition into the pan and leave at room temperature until completely cooled and hardened. You can then cut them into the desired shapes.


Ingredient:

  • 50 g of butter
  • 100 g of white sugar
  • 100 g of brown sugar
  • 170 g of sweet condensed milk.

Method of preparing homemade caramels:

  1. Melt the butter in a high non-stick pan, then add the white sugar, brown sugar and condensed milk. Leave the pan on low heat and stir continuously in the composition until it starts to boil.
  2. Let it boil for about 30 minutes, until the composition comes off the pan
  3. 5 minutes to cool, then pour the composition into ice cubes greased with a little butter. Then refrigerate the forms for at least 30 minutes.

Keep the delicious ones homemade caramels in a container with a lid, at room temperature and indulge in something sweet whenever you feel like it!

Fine as satin, gummy and flavorful, caramels are a dessert that reminds us of childhood age and the dear moments spent with parents and grandparents.

In this article we present a unique way to prepare healthy caramels, only from vegetable ingredients.

Homemade caramels with peanut butter

Classic caramels contain milk, butter, condensed milk, sugar, oil and molasses. This recipe does not contain any of these traditional ingredients.

You don't even need a stove or thermometer to cook them. Everything is obtained "cold”, And the resulting dessert is as much as possible natural and healthy.

Peanut butter caramels - recipe

From the given quantities results about 9 servings. Adjust the ingredients according to the number of "subscribers".

• 250 g of peanut butter
• 50 g of coconut oil
• 100 ml of maple syrup
• natural vanilla

It is advisable to use a natural, fine peanut butter. But if you want to get the caramels with a crunchy texture, choose an assortment with pieces of peanuts.

Mix the peanut butter with the melted coconut oil and the maple syrup until a homogeneous composition results. Add vanilla to taste and transfer the composition to a tray / square shape with a diameter of 15 x 15 cm. pre-laid with plastic wrap or baking paper (length and width).

Level and place the tray in the freezer and leave the top for a few hours until it becomes solid and can be portioned.

Remove from the pan by pulling on the edges of the foil and cut into small cubes. Store in the refrigerator or freezer.
